Touring, motorhome and camping
We offer a range of touring and camping pitches across the park. Many pitches are close to facilities, and we will always do our best to accommodate requests where possible.
Guests with mobility requirements are encouraged to contact the team before arrival and our friendly team will be able to recommend the most appropriate pitches for your stay.
Getting around the park
The 20-acre site is navigable for wheelchairs and mobility scooters on pathways connecting main facilities. Some areas, such as the woodland walks, for example, are not accessible.
The gravel areas around our seasonal bar, The Manor’s Tap and The Manor’s Crust pizza wagon can be difficult to manoeuvre in a wheelchair. However, you can limit the distance on gravel by travelling around.
Our reception sits at ground level and has a lowered counter section. The shop connects via level access with aisles wide enough for mobility scooters to browse comfortably. Our Café at the Gates has step-free entry and tables at appropriate heights. During high season, the reception is situated in the hut, which has a step, so when you arrive, our friendly team will come to your vehicle to check you in.
Clear signage throughout helps with navigation. The Information Hut in the park centre stocks local maps and accessibility information for Dorset attractions.
Reception provides site maps marking accessible routes and facilities. They’ll also explain which areas work well for different mobility aids and which don’t.
